Birthdays!

So Jacob is 2 now, wow where has the time gone? He is so big and learning so much! I love that kid! He makes me smile everyday! Now don't get me wrong terrible 2s are here and he is a mess. He loves to push my buttons and see what he can get away with! ERR! Some days I feel like all I do is get onto him. For instance yesterday he was so cranky and so we put him down for his nap. Well about 30 minutes later I went in to check on him and put Stephen in bed and Jacob was in the crib playing with toys. So I got him out and told him not to get into brothers bed and to get in his bed and go to sleep. Well I went back downstairs and was visiting with my aunt who was at my house and a few minutes later Stephen is screaming bloody murder, it sounded awful and I run upstairs and Jacob is in bed with Stephen and he is sitting on him! UGH I could have screamed! I made Daddy do the disciplining that time!

We did have a wonderful birthday party for Jacob we had most of our family here for a pancake breakfast, it was so fun. He really enjoyed it! I am waiting on the pictures but I will post as soon as I get them!

Oh my word I can't believe I am turning 30 tomorrow. It just seems so unreal for some reason. I know 30 is not old and I think I have accomplished some good goals, I am married, we own our first home, and we have two beautiful baby boys!

I have no idea what we are doing for my birthday I just know that Bryce has some sort of surprise planned! I am excited! I love surprises!

All Moved In

YAY we are all moved in, now I am still working on unpacking! Thankfully after my last post the next day Noel and I got almost the whole house packed! She is awesome! Then she kept our kiddos allll day on Saturday and we finished painting and cleaned almost all the carpets. Thank you Steve and Teri for all your wonderful help. We couldn't have done it without all your help. Then on Sunday we worked a couple more hours on the house then moved pretty much all our stuff that afternoon. It was awesome. Our neighbors the Fergusons, my aunt and uncle and Teri all helped us get it done! Praise the Lord for such awesome people. They were all really amazing! So now I am trying to get everything in a home. Boy you unpack one box and it feels like 3 more were added to it. I don't know where I am going to put everything. We had so much storage in our old house and this house just doesn't have quite enough. Oh well maybe I will get it all done soon. Well I have to we are having a birthday party for Jacob at the end of the month and my family will be here. AH! I better go get busy. Nah I have a few more minutes, after all I got a lot done this morning. It is like once I finally get started I can make great progress really fast it just takes me awhile to get started.

Packing and moving

Ok so many of you know that we have bought our FIRST house in Bethany! Yay so excited! We have been working over there quite  a bit this week and spent all of last weekend over there, we got tons done but still have lots to do. The whole upstairs and entry way are painted and the den just lacks the detail work painted oh yea and the ceiling. It looks great, just a lot of work still have to paint the master bedroom and bath and the kitchen. Should only take us a day to get all that done, but it is so hard with the kids. Taking a 2 year old with you to paint is more work than necessary! He does good for a little while then he just has to help. Not a good deal. Once all the painting is done I need to get over there and clean and clean carpets then we can move, boy I hope I get most this done this weekend and can move next week. We were trying to move this weekend but dont see that happening since it is already Thursday and all that is left to do and my other house is not even close to packed! I have help packing tomorrow I sure hope Noel and I get lots done!! We should seriously we don't have THAT much stuff. So if anyone is up to helping this weekend let me know. Lovin IT

Ok so last week we went to Guymon to see my family for my dad's 60th birthday we had an awesome surprise party for him. It went very well, he was totally surprised and loved his party. Well while we were there my sister went into labor so we stayed an extra day. On Sunday morning she went to the hospital and so one of my other sisters and I went up to be with her. We stayed all day with her and little Aiden was born on August 22nd at 7:15 pm. He is very cute.

Well since we have been home we have been busy with work and just life in general.

The kids are growing so much and changing daily I think, it is simply amazing to me. I can not believe how much children grow and change in such a short amount of time. Why does it have to go so fast? I miss Jacob being a baby now he is an onry toddler! He is very strong willed and likes to test mommy. Man its amazing Daddy tells him anything and he listens very quickly, mommy not so much. For instance he is now in a big boy bed and I told him to get in bed and take a nap, well 2 and a half hours later he is now asleep! Ugh it is so exhausting to me. I do not like getting on to him, but I don't know how else to make him mind me and listen to me. Terrible twos are on their way! Maybe he is starting them a little early!! Oh well I am off to fold laundry and move on with my day.

By the way I am starting a new book this week, it is called The Untold Story of Milk, by Ron Schmid ND I will let you all know what I think.

August 13

So this has been an exciting week for me. As many of you know I have stopped using most medications and gone to natural remedies over a year ago. It has been an amazing journey. I am so much better than I used to be. I still have the flair ups occasionally and have "bad"days, but overall I feel great. I can't point out a part of my body that is better, because I am better all over! I have more energy and love for life than I have ever had.

I went in to my naturalpath doctor earlier this week and everything is looking really good. I love it! It is so nice to go and not have a million things pop up on the scan that are out of sync. I try really hard to do all the things she recommends but I have a terrible time getting motivated to work out, I know this is a normal thing for people but still it is so hard to get up and do it! I have extremely high hopes that once I get my bedroom redone and get my rebounder back in there I will be much better at it. Pray for me. I am lazy!

We are getting a new bed sometime soon, it is ordered just not delivered, praying for it to be soon. I have insomnia something terrible, I don't sleep very well at all. my 3 month old baby sleeps 12 hours at night and mommy sleeps only about 4. However the other night I slept from 7:30 to 8 the next morning. I guess my body finally gave in! It was amazing. The next night it was still better and I slept about 7 hours. Hopefully my insomnia is over and I will be sleeping everynight. Either way I can't wait for my new bed!

I have not ever in my life been able to be outside when the yard is being mowed and last summer I actually mowed the yard several times without incident! Praise the Lord!! Now I mow and Bryce weed eats and we can get our huge yard taken care of in about an hour! It is simply amazing! I love to be helpful to him and that is super helpful! Jacob loves to ride on the mower with us. So precious! Speaking of mowing it really needs to get done this weekend!

Day 1 of Blogging

So I finally decided to join the world of blogging. This blog will be all about the Reid Family Adventures. Here is a little bit about our family!!

Bryce and I have been married almost 3 years, I know right it doesn't  seem like 3 weeks even!! We have two boys Jacob Austin and Stephen Russell. We had Jacob about a year after we got married and Stephen was born a couple of months ago. So lets just say life moves quickly around this household! Constant changes.

This summer has been super busy for us. We had a baby, 2 family reunions and I was in Jessica's wedding all within just a couple of weeks! Whew we survived all the traveling and visiting and everything else that goes with all of that and we loved every minute of it! 
Well that is about it for now, I must go get something done since both my babies are sleeping!
